Lately, I’ve taken a bit of a break from writing at Skydiving for Pearls, to focus on my crossover efforts from opera to musical theatre and film and television. I’ve also started gearing up for a very big project to come, called The Peace of Persistence, which I intend to unveil fully in September. In the meantime, I’m singing and acting up a storm, excitedly awaiting the start of rehearsals for the New York Philharmonic’s Carousel while filling in for an injured friend in the opening weekend of the return of Don Cristóbal, now through Sunday.
Speaking of returns, Kara Morgan is back! She’s moved to Los Angeles to more fully pursue her dreams in acting and singing, while I miss her shining face, I wish her all the best. PS, Kara, feel free to hire me when you make it big out there. I couldn’t resist sharing her newest episode, Time Machine. Enjoy!
I present soprano Kara Morgan of The Kara Morgan Show, as she embarks on a new production, Opera Sitcom, with my dear and talented friends tenor Nicholas Houhoulis and bass François Loup. Amazing.
Yes, the illustrious Kara Morgan from The Kara Morgan Show graced my home with her presence this fall. Little did we know a puppet show could be so treacherous!
I heart you, Kara Morgan. Thanks for the laughs.
Last week, a friend of mine here in Tri-Cities, WA asked me, “Who is Kara Morgan, anyway?” Oh, that made me happy! I love this woman, and I can’t possibly stop featuring The Kara Morgan Show webseries. As long as I can promote her anywhere and everywhere I go, I will. Still, inspired by my intrigued friend’s question, I hope to post a thorough interview or entry by Kara soon. In the meantime, take a moment to sit back and witness her as she makes one of the boldest sacrifices known to womankind.
Somewhere along the way while packing, traveling, and receiving the stamp of approval for my voicing of Nellie from my Arkansas-native voice teacher and his wife, I seem to have lost my ability to think. Leaving in the morning for Tri-Cities, WA to spend the next seven weeks rehearsing and performing with some great people, I admit I have little to contribute except to say that I LOVE NYC and will see it and my incredible friends very soon in December. As you read, I fly overhead, Delta-willing. In the meantime for today, I bring you my dear friend Kara Morgan, for whom despite my fatigue I can easily think of five of the best reasons to watch The Kara Morgan Show.
If you don’t, she may try throwing her spikey yoga ball from the intro at you. She looks like she could do some damage with that thing.

Without furthier delay, The Kara Morgan Show: Episode VII
So Kara, what do I get for posting all of your episodes?
Presenting episode three of the Kara Morgan Show on Politeness…
I admire Kara so much for finding her own comedic niche and unapologetically producing and posting it online (her opening credits sell it for me every time). Personally, I can’t wait for the day when I can subscribe to the Kara Morgan Show on ITunes. In the meantime, a subscription to her YouTube channel will suffice. If you missed episodes one and two, you can find them on Day 85 of Skydiving for Pearls.
